*Important Parking Information for the Public Library
The library parking lot is permit-only for Saratoga Springs School District residents. If you don’t have a permit, there is a good chance you will be ticketed. There is plenty of free alternative parking on side streets and in nearby city lots.
- There is free on-street parking in the vicinity of the library, particularly on Henry Street and the blocks to the east, but also on Broadway and some streets between Broadway and Putnam Street. Please be mindful of posted regulations, such as those regarding time limits and/or alternate side parking rules.
- There is also free parking off-season at two City-owned municipal parking lots across the street from each other, within a block of the Library: one at Spring Street with entrances from Henry and Putnam Streets; and one at Spring Street, with a lower level entrance on Putnam Street, and an upper level entrance on Phila Street.
- Residents of the Saratoga Springs City School District can get a library permit to park free in the library lot from 9am to 6pm by bringing their car registration and library card in good standing to the Circulation Desk.
PARKING:
Many streets around the City Center and downtown Saratoga area allow for on-street parking. Please obey any posted restrictions. See City of Saratoga Springs City Parking Map.
The City Center has a paid parking garage with 620 spaces. After the first hour, the cost is $2/hour, with a daily maximum of $15 (overnight parking included). More info is here.
NEW! For 2025, The Hilton’s parking lot will be reserved for Hilton guests, at the cost of $6/day. You’ll need to provide your license plate number to the desk when you check in, and parking will be added to your bill (do not scan the QR at the lot entrance). Payment is verified through a license plate photo system. We request that day attendees park at the City Center garage or elsewhere to ensure adequate parking for hotel guests. If you do park in the Hilton lot, you must scan the QR code to pay and you will be charged a rate of $15/day.
There is a Parking Garage (450 spaces) on Woodlawn Ave, three blocks from the City Center. (From Broadway, take Church St/9N West — to Woodlawn, turn left onto Woodlawn), as well as other garages in a walkable distance. See above parking maps.

DO NOT BLOCK vehicles in the Hotel or City Center loading area, bus stops, or in the City Center or Hotel parking lots. Obstructing or illegally parked vehicles, will be towed.
Please obey all Snow Emergency signs, should there be significant snowfall. The Flurry Festival and the DanceFlurry Organization are not responsible for parking tickets or towing fees.

BY BUS:
Long Distance: Both Greyhound and Trailways serve Saratoga Springs.
Local: CDTA bus schedules to, and around Saratoga Springs.
TRAIN:
AMTRAK train service is available to Saratoga Springs.
PLANE:
Albany International Airport. Approx. 25 mile/half-hour drive.
TAXI SERVICE:
NOTE: First check with your hotel to see if they offer free shuttle service to and from the City Center. A taxi stand is located outside the City Center main entrance, on Ellsworth Jones Place (look for sign).
