New for 2027: Introducing “Flurry Prelude”!

Make your weekend just a little bit longer… Join us Thursday evening before Flurry to settle in, meet up with friends for dinner, and kick off your Flurry with a free welcome contra dance (donations encouraged) from 8:30-11:30pm, with a beginner lesson at 8pm.

Friday’s Skill-Building Day starts at 9am and runs through 6pm, when regular festival programming begins (afternoon-only tickets will also be available). The Flurry itself is a whirlwind of social dancing, with instruction mostly oriented around intro classes. Friday’s sessions will focus on deeper education, allowing you to advance your skills as a dancer so you can have more fun over the course of the weekend. Participants can choose freely among sessions for each of the time slots, with topics primarily representing four featured genres: contra, swing, vocal harmony, and line dancing

Hotel rooms onsite at the Hilton are available for Thursday night at the Flurry rate, and you’ll have an opportunity to pre-purchase lunch on site for Friday afternoon. Surround yourself with dance, music, and a fantastic learning community at Flurry Prelude – a festival before the festival!
